I got pulled over not too long ago for having a burned-out headlight in Brookfield. When the officer asked me for my insurance card, I went to the glove box to retrieve it and when I gave it to him, he said that it was expired. I was driving my father's car at the time I was pulled over. I received 2 tickets, one for the headlight, and one for no proof of insurance. I went to court today and they dismissed both tickets, because the car was insured the whole time. If it is a law in IL, wouldn't the illegal immigrants have to get it as well? This doesn't make any sense at all to me. I believe that they are doing this so they can let them vote in the election in November.
