Trumps steps up lies on Social Security, undermining healthcare for seniors
Trump is a shyster who continues to lie to the American people, mainly seniors, making them pay more, ignoring the economy and helping his wealthy pals
President Donald Trump continues to lie about eliminating the tax on social security income for senior citizens.
Instead of eliminating the Social Security tax, Trump authorized a limited disbursement of up to $6,000 to a narrow group of seniors on social security, disqualifying nearly 70 percent of seniors who continue to work from receiving the money and only benefiting those seniors over 65 (SS starts at 62) who are working part time and who collect the lowest SS benefit amount at the earliest age.
And Trump now says he won’t fund Medicare or Medicaid, mainly used by seniors receiving Social Security and the poor, because the cost of the WARS he has started needs the money.
Trump openly said states need to pay those taxes instead of the federal government, and he wants states to raise their taxes on Americans.
Basically, it’s a typical Trump shell game.
Trump’s idea of reducing taxes, as he falsely promised, is to shift federal taxes to the states, to force taxpayers to pay more taxes to the states rather than to the feds.
That is no different than Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker eliminating the state tax on groceries and forcing taxpayers to pay it through municipalities where they live.
Trump is a shyster — a dishonest, unethical person, most commonly referring to a lawyer or politician who uses unscrupulous, tricky methods to achieve their goals.
The term implies a lack of professional integrity, often associated with fraudulent or pretense-based behavior to gain money or advantage.
Trump lied in his campaign and broke his biggest promises to take America away from foreign wars and to focus on helping the American people.
All Trump does is help himself.
Trump is spending so much money on his wars that programs helping Americans need to be cut.
He is also funding the war in Iran (and paying for the wars in Gaza and Lebanon) for Israel’s government, which forced him into fighting (what does Netanyahu have on Trump?)
And of course, the economy is the worst it has ever been for the majority of Americans, while the wealthy continue to profit with very little in tax obligations.

Trump continues to profit, however, taking money for his personal projects like the so-called” Board of Peace” ($10 billion).
In his inauguration speech on Jan. 20, 2025, Trump defined America First and said, “Like in 2017, we will again build the strongest military the world has ever seen. We will measure our success not only by the battles we win but also by the wars that we end — and perhaps most importantly, the wars we never get into.”
On the economy, he vowed, “I will direct all members of my cabinet to marshal the vast powers at their disposal to defeat what was record inflation and rapidly bring down costs and prices. The inflation crisis was caused by massive overspending and escalating energy prices, and that is why today I will also declare a national energy emergency. We will drill, baby, drill. America will be a manufacturing nation once again, and we have something that no other manufacturing nation will ever have — the largest amount of oil and gas of any country on earth — and we are going to use it. We’ll use it. We will bring prices down, fill our strategic reserves up again right to the top, and export American energy all over the world.”
His remarks were even more narrow and less defined than the bluster and elaborate rhetoric on both topics he made during his election campaign. The priority, he said, was to focus on Americans, not foreigners, and make America economically stronger, blaming the bad economy on former President Joe Biden.
“Under my administration, we will be slashing energy and electricity prices by half within 12 months, at a maximum 18 months,” Trump declared in numerous TV interviews. Click here to view his promises on strengthening the economy that he has broken.
But here we are on an economic downslide with Trump talking about reducing benefits to Americans and introducing military spending that is nearly percent
We all know today that Trump has lied and has pursued his own selfish, narcissistic priorities that have pushed the needs of everyday Americans to the side.
The definition of true “America First” is that the sooner Trump is gone from office, the better, because he has never put America first.
After the Nov. 3, 2026, General Election, Trump deserves to be impeached by the U.S. House, and if the Senate can muster a two-thirds majority, they can remove him from office.
Anyone who supports Trump should be thrown out of office in the General Elections on November 3, 2026.

Once again, Ray, you're speaking the plain truth. Trump continues to diminish America in the eyes of the world. True conservatives have more sense, have values and morality. The only thing Trump holds important is his own vanity and enrichment. He's not a great American leader.
