No matter who is elected president, Trump or Harris, don't expect changes
It is not news that the election fight between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris has been dominated by name calling and accusations, and very little in terms of issue substance. Don't expect any changes

No one can predict who will win the election for President on Tuesday Nov, 8, 2024, but there is one certainty, No matter who wins, little will change.
The news media has been so biased in favor of Kamala Harris and biased against Donald Trump that it’s been easy for both sides to focus on attacking each other rather than addressing the real issues Americans need to have addressed and solved.
Although Trump and Harris have spoken in generalities about what they would do to address a wide range of generalities, they have failed to provide detailed answers as to how they will achieve change or to explain their solutions.
Those who support Harris are pushing the issues of Abortion and racism in seeking to energize voters. They are hot-button emotional issues, but neither issue is a deciding factor in the election.
The issue of Abortion has always been a two-sided emotional battle that has polarized the American public. There is no one in the middle any more. Just extremes on one side and on the other. The issue is debated in vague generalities and fear mongering, and neither gets down to the details of what are the proper parameters of an abortion law.
It isn’t just Harris. It’s the same with Trump who has made the economy and border security his top priorities. He talks about them a lot, but offers very little in terms of details.
Now personally I believe the economy and border security are our top issues that need to be addressed and solved. Trump is the only one addressing them. Harris claims the economy is good, which it is not, and she was in charge of border security for the past four years, but achieved very little.
Today’s economy is horrible. Inflation remains high, despite President Biden’s PR spin. The state of the economy is being manipulated to appear good, but in reality, he economy is painful for most Americans who continue to struggle to make ends meet. Grocery costs are outrageous as are gasoline prices, insurance coverage costs, and so much more.
Harris has not offered any detailed answers to these problems, but neither has Trump. They both speak in headlines and slogans and empty promises to solve challenges and make the country better.
The border problem is a challenge on many levels, impacting not only the economy — many municipalities are using taxpayer dollars to cover costs to care for the illegal aliens and the migrants who eter this country illegally.
Democrats call it an immigration issue and accuse Trump of being ant-immigrant. But they are exaggerating the facts thriving on labels falsely promoted by a biased news media that favors Harris and hates Trump.
“Immigration” is not the core issue. It is NOT about immigrants. America is an Immigrant country.
The core issue is foreigners who violate American laws and enter this country illegally. They have children, who they describe as “Dreamers,” to build sympathy for their own illegal status. They enter this country at their own risk, but they want to hold legal American citizens hostage with emotion and lies and distortions in order to force this country to accept all of them.
They want us to ignore that they entered this country illegally, ignoring the laws which clearly spell out a path to legal immigration.
Every illegal foreigner or migrant who enters this country illegally, should be arrested and thrown out of the country.
This influx of foreigners entering America illegally and then being given financial support and social services in many states is a growing problem for many reasons. It’s not just burdening our economy by using tax dollars to help people who don’t deserve it. It’s also impacting public safety.
We don’t know who these foreigners are who enter this country illegally. It doesn’t mean they are all criminals but we don’t really know, do we?
By circumventing the legal process of becoming a citizen, foreigners who enter this country illegally are also fueling a our crime rate at every level from minor infractions to serious crimes. Our border agents are not able to thoroughly examine the backgrounds of those who enter illegally. Not everyone who enters this country illegally is a hardened criminal who threatens our safety, but many of those entering illegally are real criminals, many who are being shoved out of their countries by their dictator governments.
Instead of addressing this issue correctly, the news media is spinning it to help their candidates. The biased liberal news media is distorting the issue the most, asserting falsely that Trump opposes immigration and wants to prevent immigrants from entering the country. That is not true, but that is what the media continues to say.
Regardless, the issue is not being addressed properly which means it won’t be addressed properly after the election.
In truth, both candidates have their negatives and their positives, but unfortunately, the voters are not getting the benefit of a public national discussion about the issues in detail.
It’s all name calling. It’s all about personalities. There are no real details. So when the elections are over, no one will be held accountable to do anything and they will wing it, shooting from the hip.
I do notice that themedia is more biased against Trump and they distort everything he says. For example, he never said that Liz Cheney should be be shoot. He did say that if she wants to lecture anyone about military service and the defence of this country, it would help if she had some real experience in the military with armed enemies threatening her as a soldier, which she never was.
The media was quick to distort that point that admittedly, Trump could have articulated in a clearer and better manner. Is he sloppy with his rhetoric? Yes.
But the media cleans up the rhetoric of those they love and exaggerates the rhetoric of those they hate
It’s unfortunate that in this election and int he past two presidential elections, the media has distorted issues in order to help their favored candidates and harm those they hate.
They are not doing their job. And that is a disservice to Americans.
But once this election is over, no matter who wins, none of this will change, meaning if Harris wins, the media will cover for her and her mistakes and failings will pass with very little challenge.
And if Trump win, the media will distort everything Trump says and does, preventing things from working and fueling more polarization keeping America from coming together as one nation.
I am not saying all this because I favor Trump over Harris, or Harris over Trump. I voted for Dr. Jill Stein for a very specific reason in the hopes that the Green Party, with all of its benefits and flaws, will attract enough votes on Nov. 5, 2024 to reach the 5 percent threshold to become a recognized major political party. That will begin the process of breaking the corrupt and failed two-party political system in America which has held this nation hostage to polarization for the past two decades, keeping this country in turmoil and stagnation.
In a three-party system, and possibly more, no single party will be able to control American politics on the basis of fear and misinformation. They will be required to compromise and explain what they are doing to the public.
It might be the only way to bridge the polarization and bring this country together.
Further:
According to Perkins, his job at the firm was to convince leaders of underdeveloped countries to accept substantial development loans for large construction and engineering projects. Ensuring that these projects were contracted to U.S. companies, such loans provided political influence for the US and access to natural resources for American companies,[1]: 15, 239 thus primarily helping local elites and wealthy families, rather than the poor.
The book heavily criticizes U.S. foreign policy and the notion that "all economic growth benefits humankind, and that the greater the growth, the more widespread the benefits."[1]: xii Perkins suggests that, in many cases, only a small portion of the population benefits at the expense of the rest, pointing to, as an example, an increase in income inequality, whereby large U.S. corporations exploit cheap labor, and oil companies destroy local environments.[1]: xii
Perkins describes what he calls a system of corporatocracy and greed as the driving forces behind establishing the United States as a global empire, in which he took a role as an "economic hit man" to expand its influence. In this capacity, Perkins recounts his meetings with some prominent individuals, including Graham Greene and Omar Torrijos. Perkins describes the role of an economic hit man as follows:
Economic hit men (EHMs) are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. They funnel money from the World Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and other foreign "aid" organizations into the coffers of huge corporations and the pockets of a few wealthy families who control the planet's natural resources. Their tools included fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder. They play a game as old as empire, but one that has taken on new and terrifying dimensions during this time of globalization.

One thing the immigration coverage overlooks (this dates from the 2016 election):
Ending US policies that cause the inflow, such as:
'Hillary has supported the deportations of immigrants, opposed the
refugees -- women and children coming from Honduras, whose refugee crisis
she was very much responsible for by giving a thumbs-up to this
corporate coup in Honduras that has created the violence from which
those refugees are fleeing. She basically said, "No, bar the gates, send
them back." You know, so we see these draconian things that Donald Trump
is talking about, we actually see Hillary Clinton doing.'
