In “President” vs “The Boss,” Trump is the Big Loser
President Donald Trump continues to waste his time spewing venom at celebrity critics and political rivals rather than confronting the real challenges facing Americans.

There are some things I like about President Donald Trump and some things I despise.
Trump was clearly a better candidate than Vice President Kamala Harris, and I can never forgive former President Joe Biden or the National Democrats for their continued hypocrisy on the Middle East and Gaza.
Gaza is a slaughterhouse of excessive and unjustified violence by Israel’s terrorist leader Benjamin Netanyahu, who Biden and the Democrats encouraged after a Hamas terrorist attack took place in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Harris failed to address the mass killing of Palestinian civilians because of her fear of AIPAC, the powerful pro-Israel lobby.
Israel certainly had a right to respond to the Hamas violence, but it has no right to engage in collective punishment, the mass murder of anyone regardless of innocence of guilt.
But that is exactly what Israel has been doing for the past seven decades, responding to terrorist acts by being worse terrorists themselves. Israel has used terrorism to complete what it sought but failed to do in 1948, expel the Christian and Muslim Palestinians from their homes and lands, and possessions.
What does anyone think was going to happen in that scenario where both sides have used terrorism, but only one side is held accountable? The truth is that Hamas was a religious creation of Israel to confront the secular threat they saw in PLO Leader Yasir Arafat. (Read my footnoted analysis of how Israel did that by clicking here.)
The tragedy is that this condemnation of one side while closing our eyes to the other side has continued under President Donald Trump, who vowed to bring an end to the conflict.
Not unexpectedly, the surviving dysfunctional Democrats are now cause-shaming the Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims, asserting that the genocide in Gaza is Trump’s fault, and they voted for him.
“Are you Arab Americans happy now with what Trump is doing?” Democrats snidely ask nearly every day, deflecting from their own contribution to Trump’s victory.
If anyone is to “blame” for Trump’s election, it’s the hypocritical, failed Democrats, Biden, Harris, and all their party members who can’t seem to get their acts together.
Hypocrisy is the worst cause of failed politics. Biden, Harris, and the National Democrats are the biggest hypocrites.
I, and most Arabs and Muslims, voted for Dr. Jill Stein, the Jewish presidential candidate who promised to fight terrorism regardless of who engaged in it, Arabs or Jews. We saw through the weakness of the Democrats and the psychotic rightwing fanaticism of the Republicans. Why? Because we apparently are the only ones who think that our polarized political American world is tearing this country apart, and we need new leadership with new ideas.
But the election is behind us now, and Trump is the president. Like it or not.
That doesn’t mean everything that Trump is doing is good. It’s not. Trump has a major personality flaw that fueled his Reality TV successes but undermines his presidential abilities. He can’t stop himself from saying stupid things, or exaggerating his self-worth like comparing himself to a Pope, or calling himself the “best thing to ever happen to this country.”

I wish Trump would just shut up and do his job. He works for the American taxpayers, not for the billionaires like Elon Musk, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, or Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. Money seems to have more influence over Trump’s policies than fighting for the best interests of the American people.
Whenever someone in politics claims they are “the best” or “the greatest” or says things like “no one has done as much as I have,” you know they are overcompensating for their failures.
The economy sucks, Donald. Inflation has exploded. Wages are down. Healthcare costs far more today than they ever did before. Your tiny steps have done nothing to make things better. People see through your exaggerations and your lies.
Just because the national Democrats are a car wreck doesn’t mean you should act like an idiot yourself. America is a mess today, not because of one side, but because of both sides. Them and you!
Instead of solving America’s problems, Trump is aggravating them. He’s driving America into debt. Trump still thinks he is a reality TV star, and has turned the White House into a new version of “The Apprentice.”

So instead of fighting for those in need — the poor, the middle class, seniors, Americans who face healthcare challenges created by the billionaires running the insurance industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the banks — he’s wasting his time posting stupid tweets and fighting with people who are inconsequential to our lives but who give him a floodlit stage.
Why? Because Trump thinks more of himself than he does of the responsibility his election has placed on him to fight for the rights of ALL the American people.
So he goes on these idiotic and puerile verbal rampages attacking his critics because his ego just can’t take criticism.
Like he did when he attacked Bruce Springsteen, one of our greatest musicians.
Springsteen, “The Boss,” is a MUSICIAN! He doesn’t decide policies. He doesn’t impact healthcare. He can’t strengthen the country’s economy. And, he can’t make our streets safer. He’s a musician and a damn good one.
Springsteen said recently, “In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” he continued before asking fans to “raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!”
He continued, “They are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent,” Springsteen began, in remarks that were later posted on his website and YouTube channel. He continued:
Springsteen added, “They’re rolling back historic Civil Rights legislation that led to a more just and plural society. They’re abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom. They’re defunding American universities that won’t bow down to their ideological demands. They’re removing residents off American streets and, without due process of law, are deporting them to foreign detention centers and prisons.”
Springsteen didn’t just criticize the easily criticized Trump. He also criticized the national Democrats.
Trump turned to his pathetic, self-serving social media, “Truth Social,” where he posted: “I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States. Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country. If I wasn’t elected, it would have been GONE by now! Sleepy Joe didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing, but Springsteen is “dumb as a rock,” and couldn’t see what was going on, or could he (which is even worse!)? This dried out “prune” of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just “standard fare.” Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”
So, what if Springsteen decided to criticize your failed policies, Mr. President? He’s a taxpayer, too. He’s an American. That’s his right.
A good president, like Ronald Reagan or Barack Obama, would use the power of their office and their rhetoric to confront the tyrants in our world, like Russia’s Vladimir Putin or Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu.
Put your energy into addressing and changing the world’s problems, challenges that drain our American resources.
We have to fund Ukraine because Trump has failed to pressure Russia to stop.
We continue to give Israel billions in taxpayer money even though Israel is one of the wealthiest countries in the world.
What about the American people, Mr. President?
When are you going to start ranting against our enemies and end your childish tantrums and self-serving blathering?
America is in serious trouble, and that concern is not a Republican concern, not a Democrat concern. It’s an American concern.
Robert Reich here. Early yesterday morning, Donald Trump's huge, horrific mega-bill passed the House. Now, it heads to the Senate.
This bill would cause 13.7 million people to lose health care. 11 million would lose food stamp benefits—many of them kids. It would cut $700 billion from Medicaid and $500 billion from Medicare.
This might be the worst, most damaging piece of legislation I've seen in my nearly 60 years in politics. Inequality Media Civic Action is launching an emergency push to alert people about the specifics of this bill to help stop it, and we're counting on your help.
Will you donate $50, $25, or even $10 to help us call out the lies and pressure the Senate to stop these devastating cuts?

The bill hurts everyday Americans and realizes the oligarchy's wish list. It includes $1.5 trillion in new tax cuts disproportionately skewed to the rich. It would defund Planned Parenthood, increase oil drilling and logging on public lands, and much more.
The good news is that the American people overwhelmingly oppose Trump's plan. Only 14% of voters support cutting social services to fund an extension of Trump's tax cuts. That's why Republicans passed the bill when many of us were still asleep.
We're not going to let them get away with it. We're pushing out viral posts and explainers to spread the word, and we need your help.
So I'm asking you: Will you donate to help us educate the public and stop Trump's devastating cuts to Medicare and Medicaid?

I continue to be amazed each time you state Trump was the better candidate! The con-man, rapist, felon, who lies, does not read but obtains news from only FOX, supports proud boys and such criminals. His prior cabinet acknowledged he was not competent. We knew Project 2025 would be implemented, and we see it destroy the US. But you prefer him, over a women who was the attorney general of the most populous state. Was the VP. She was dedicated and respected her boss, she would not turn on him. Trump is a racist. He says he only wants white people. Why is he trying to remove birth right citizenship. Because it is a way to get rid of anyone non-white. He would try to get rid of you, even though you are American born, but he does not like your heritage. He is welcoming the white South African on bogus criteria but is in the process of removing the Afghan families who came here , even though they helped the US in the war. None of his actions are a surprise. I said repeatedly I was unhappy with Biden lack of support of Palestine, but it was always clear, Trump would be worse. His Gaza hotel stories are not a joke.
He is not intelligent, simply a con man. Money is his motive, not helping American citizens.
