Illinois Gov. Pritzker disguises troubles to set himself up for presidential run
An iconic symbol of Democratic failure, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, is using his wealth to position himself as the party's next presidential hopeful, hiding his state's failures with empty sloganism.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker is readying himself for a campaign run for president in four years after Republican President-elect Donald Trump ends his second term following a remarkable re-election comeback.
Pritzker has the money. He has an open path to the Democratic Nomination. He has the news media in his deep advertising pockets. And, most importantly, this guy has no shame.
After the election, Pritzker marked his territory warning Trump, "You come for my people, you come through me."
That's really hilarious considering everyone has already come for "his people" and have trampled our rights, our taxes,, and our economy in part because of Pritzker's failed leadership.
Illinois is one of the worst states in the nation when it comes to government and taxation. And under Pritzker, it hasn't gotten better. It’s gotten worse.
The state waffles between the 2nd and 3rd worst state for having the highest and most repressive taxes. And, Illinois' “violent crime rate” (a very broad category) is 287 per 100,000 people, which is 25% lower than the national rate. However, the state's homicide rate is higher than the national average, and Illinois has the seventh-highest robbery rate in the country.
But Pritzker has never cared about the voters or "his people." Chicago is in financial crisis and is considering levying a $300 million property tax hike to off-set its problems. (My suggestion is to take the $300 million Chicago needs from the $3 billion in unspent TIF funds in Chicago's 143 TIF districts that are sitting dormant in accounts making the banks and developers rich, who in turn make campaign donations to people like Pritzker.
Has Pritzker offered any support for Chicago? That's "leadership absence" that undermines Pritzker's claims that he supports Illinois residents.
They say Illinois is a "Blue State," controlled by Democrats, but in reality, it shines a bright red in nearly 80 percent of the regions. Democrat Kamala Harris won 54.7 percent of the state's votes, and Trump took 43.7 percent.
Trump would have won 45.5 percent but in a draconian anti-democratic move, Pritzker and Illinois Democrats removed every major 3rd party candidate from the ballot except Robert F. Kennedy Jr., even though RFK had endorsed Trump months earlier.
They wanted to make Trump's vote look lower, allowing supporters to vote for RFK, to help strengthen Pritzker's planned bid.
Illinois is one of the nation's most corrupt states. Pitzker's campaigns logan could, on a Blue Hat, be "MAGA", or, "Make American GRATE Again," spreading even more of Illinois' iron grated prison bars across the country.
Pritzker symbolizes the very essence of the problems that have plagued Democrats on the national level all these years. National Democrats are great at offering up slogans with empty promises.
The Democratic Party that brought the Harris campaign to one of the worst performances in American history. Trump not only won his GOP base, but he also won many areas of the country that had previously voted Democrat, giving him not only the Electoral College Vote victory to become president, but also winning the popular vote. Trump has won control of the White House, the Senate and. the House.
Take immigration. Democrats in Illinois have been carrying an meaningless "immigration sigil" to fight for immigration reform for the past 35 years. They don't want immigration problems solved because not solving it gives them a platform to fight from.
It's the same with everything. They want the problems so they can blame them on everyone else, except themselves, and claim to be the answers to solve them, when they are not.
National Democrats are hypocrites. They need to rebuild the Democratic Party and find new leaders who are willing to actually solve the problems, and not just talk about solving them without offering solutions.
That was part of Harris' problem. She also focused on the wrong issues like Abortion, and attacking Trump. The real issues are the horrible economy, that Pritzker symbolizes in Illinois, and the border crisis which Democrats have failed to address.
Anyone who enters this country illegally is a criminal because they violated the law. You can't make exception for illegals because you believe illegals will eventually vote Democratic. In fact, nearly 45 percent of Hispanics and an even greater number of Blacks voted for Trump. Why? Because they see Trump addressing the economy.
They also see through the partisan bias of the national mainstream news media which has exaggerate claims against Trump while covering for shortfalls of Harris.
It didn't work. And Illinois is at the heart of that problem. And Pritzker is the icon of that failure.
No matter how much money Pritzker throws into his campaign from his own pocket, a Republican will easily beat him.
