President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have decided to organize their own partisan debates rather than to participate in the non-partisan debates of the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), which has organized presidential debates since 1987.

Biden, whose popularity continues to collapse in the face of an increasingly poor economy and growing questions about his leadership, and Trump, whose popularity has been injured by the many corruption trials he has and continues to face, both fear that independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., can prevent their re-elections.

So, they are conspiring to exclude Kennedy from the debates and the biased partisan news media, which normally champions fairness and objectivity, are going along with it in the hopes their favored candidates will not be hurt by Kennedy.

=================
In the end, the American people will lose if the debates fall into the direct partisan hands of Biden and Trump and they exclude a major third party candidate like Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

=================

Kennedy's popularity continues to grow. Both Biden and Trump fear Kennedy will siphon away enough votes from both either to win enough to become president himself, or more likely, to prevent either Biden or Trump from receiving the minimum of 270 Electoral College Votes (ECV) required to become president in the Nov. 5, 2024 election.

As a result, Biden and Trump both agreed to participate in two debates that they organized, one hosted by the liberal Cable News talk station CNN on June 27 and the partisan ABC TV News on Sept. 10. Kennedy is excluded from both not just by Biden and Trump but also by the partisan news media.
